Today, I'd like to introduce a book by AKAHORI Satoru(あかほりさとる)(*1).
AKAHORI is a multi-talented personality from the anime industry.
He is a noted script writer, concept designer, and even a
light-novelist. If you are familiar with the Japanese anime scene in
the 90's, you may also know that AKAHORI was the otaku's public enemy
No.1 during those days(*2).
I have reviewed some anime/otaku related books (please refer to the details at the bottom of this article). For this review, I'd like to introduce a different kind of book. This is a book to know about the anime business market works and the structure of the industry.

This is my 3rd Japanese book review. The first two book-reviews are of OKADA Toshio's books. This time, I'd like to introduce "The origin of Otaku" by YOSHIMOTO Taimatsu. This is the best book to know about the birth procedure of Otaku.
